Parker Plum sometimes has a difficult time looking on the bright side of things which can lead to negative thinking and frustration. Since disappointments in life are inescapable, children who learn how to reframe their thoughts at an early age can more easily manage setbacks. Parker occasionally has a hard time being happy with who he really is because jealousy and envy can be a distraction when the world inundates him with images of perfection. From time to time, Parker's curiosity can get the better of him when he ends up snooping about things that aren't his business.
Each story focuses on a different trait that children in grades 1 through 6 can relate to. By teaching compassion and acceptance to others, we foster an environment that is inclusive, respectful and uplifting for children and Parker Plum!
Three colorful and educational stories from author and educator Billie Pavicic!
Each storybook also has accompanying downloadable activities to help reinforce the social skills taught.
