Description

A story about a boy, his bubble wand and being prepared...

Lou is feeling a bit nervous, because today he has a doctor's appointment! Lou knows that there are a lot of different doctors out there, but he wonders what to expect. Time to use his bubble wand!

In this story, Lou learns about different types of doctors, why people go to the doctor or dentist, and what might occur while he's there. For example, he may have to wait quite a while and should bring something to do. The doctor may use special tools that look interesting, but are not safe to play with, so he will have to manage himself.

Experts Kimberly Tive and Venita Litvack do an excellent job of providing the right words and ways to set expectations for children who are going to a doctor's appointment.
