Students who have a hard time staying on task sometimes only recognize two time-frames: “NOW” and “NOT NOW.” The purpose of this activity is to give students insight as to how the past, present, and future are related to each other, and why “NOT NOW” matters too! Help students understand the important skill of “staying on task” that RJ is taught in the picture book I Just Want to Do it MY WAY! from the BEST ME I Can Be! series.
This exercise is recommended for grades 2-5.
