Description

Learning to report dangerous behavior can be difficult for children who live by a code that frowns upon "snitching." They may be unable to identify the difference between "snitching" and reporting and may fear for their reputation or even retaliation if they do report. Fortunately, with the help of these downloadable classroom activities, children will learn to distinguish between actions that should be reported to an adult and those that are best ignored. These five activities have been developed to use with students in grades 4 through 6. Included are worksheets and discussion questions to help teach how to identify bullying behaviors and when to address a pressing issue.

Five Downloadable Activities include:

    • Poster Slogans
    • Bullying Types
    • What Would You Teach?
    • What's the Difference?
    • Ways to Report

My Name's Sammy, and I'm No Snitch is part of the Chicorée Elementary Stories for Success series and is recommended for these classroom activities.
